A new round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, United States, and Russia began Tuesday in Geneva, Switzerland. According to TASS, the closed-door discussions will cover territorial, military, political, economic, and security issues. The Russian delegation is led by Vladimir Medinsky, replacing military officials who headed earlier talks in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Ukraine’s team is headed by Rustem Umerov, while the U.S. delegation includes envoy Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Donald Trump.
