Chinese winter sports equipment manufacturers are increasing production to meet rising global demand driven by the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics 2026. Factories in Jiaxiang County, Shandong Province are operating at full capacity as overseas orders surge, with the area producing about 80 million pairs of ski gloves annually and exporting to more than 60 markets. Meanwhile, Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province has become a major global supplier of ski poles, accounting for roughly 70 percent of China’s exports. Officials say growing international demand has pushed companies to upgrade technology, speed up production, and develop customized products, helping Chinese-made winter sports gear gain market share worldwide.
