Authorities released new surveillance footage on Tuesday showing a masked, armed individual tampering with the front door camera of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie. This comes on the tenth day of the search after Nancy Guthrie went missing on Feb. 1.
The FBI, Pima County law enforcement, and the Guthrie family are seeking public help. The footage, from Guthrie’s Google Nest camera, shows a person wearing a mask, gloves, backpack, and what appears to be a gun holster.
Two unauthenticated ransom notes demanding cryptocurrency were previously sent to media outlets but the deadlines have passed. The Guthrie family has made videos urging the return of Nancy Guthrie and offering payment.
FBI Director Kash Patel said the newly released images reveal the individual tampering with the camera the morning of her disappearance. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her recovery.
