Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney urged citizens to “Buy Canadian” and “Build Canadian” in a video message on Saturday, following a new tariff threat from U.S. President Donald Trump. Carney said Canadians should focus on supporting their own economy, adding that while they cannot control other countries’ actions, they can be their own best customers. The remarks came after Trump threatened to impose a 100 percent tariff on Canadian goods entering the United States.
