“Horse Power,” China’s first giant-screen film inspired by the Chinese zodiac, premiered in Shanghai on Friday, blending traditional cultural themes with advanced filmmaking technology. Co-produced by China Media Group and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, the film uses high-definition dynamic cinematography to vividly capture fast movement and rare moments, telling unique stories of horses from around the world. The premiere took place at the newly upgraded CINITY giant-screen theater at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, which is the world’s first science-museum cinema to use an LED film screen system.
