What makes cooperation between China and France a two-way success

China and France are strengthening their strategic partnership as Airbus opens a second A320 assembly line in Tianjin, which will supply 20% of global A320 output. During French President Macron’s visit to Beijing, President Xi emphasized expanding cooperation in aviation, nuclear energy, and new areas such as green technology, digital economy, biomedicine, AI, and new energy.

Both leaders agreed to deepen political trust, support each other’s core interests, and uphold multilateralism amid global instability. Macron reaffirmed France’s one-China policy and welcomed more Chinese investment.

Bilateral trade reached $68.75 billion in the first ten months of 2025, and cultural exchanges remain strong. Analysts say ongoing China–France cooperation brings stability and certainty to a changing international landscape.
