Hong Kong authorities have fully extinguished the Wang Fuk Court fire and are completing final search operations. The blaze, which started on renovation scaffolding and spread across multiple buildings, killed 94 people. Three renovation workers were arrested for suspected manslaughter, and a corruption probe has been launched into the project. The government has ordered city-wide safety inspections, opened emergency shelters, offered cash aid to affected households, and plans to provide 1,800 transitional housing units.
