China’s postal and express delivery firms handled a record 13.94 billion parcels during the “Double 11” shopping period from October 21 to November 11, according to the State Post Bureau. Daily volumes averaged 634 million parcels, peaking at 777 million on a single day — both new records. Enhanced logistics measures ensured smooth operations, boosting efficiency across the sector. Since its start in 2009, “Double 11” has remained a major driver of consumer spending in China.
