Kim Yong Nam, former chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, died of illness at age 97 on Monday, according to KCNA.
DPRK leader Kim Jong Un visited his bier early Tuesday morning to express condolences. The DPRK has decided to hold a state funeral, with a 100-person national funeral committee including Kim Jong Un. The funeral is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
