Visiting Chinese Vice President Han Zheng emphasized China’s commitment to deepening its strategic partnership with Kuwait, promoting political trust, practical cooperation, and multilateral initiatives. During meetings with Kuwaiti leaders—including the Emir, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister—Han highlighted opportunities from China’s reforms and global initiatives, while Kuwait reaffirmed support for China’s core interests, multilateralism, and Belt and Road cooperation. Both sides agreed to accelerate bilateral projects, enhance GCC-China relations, and elevate ties ahead of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
