Bayern Munich came from behind to beat Cologne 4-1 in the German Cup’s second round, continuing their flawless start under coach Vincent Kompany. The win marked Bayern’s 14th straight victory in all competitions — a new record among Europe’s top five leagues, surpassing AC Milan’s 1992/93 streak of 13.
Cologne took the lead in the 30th minute through Ragnar Ache’s header, but Bayern quickly turned the game around. Luis Díaz equalized six minutes later, and Harry Kane scored a brilliant goal just two minutes after that to make it 2-1.
Kane struck again in the 64th minute from a corner, notching his 22nd goal in 14 matches this season, while Michael Olise added a fourth in the 72nd minute to seal Bayern’s 4-1 win and their place in the third round.
