Chinese President Xi Jinping sent condolences to Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn over the death of Queen Mother Sirikit.
On behalf of China’s government and people, Xi expressed deep sympathy to the Thai royal family and nation.
He praised Queen Mother Sirikit’s contributions to China-Thailand friendship, recalling her visit to China on behalf of the late King Bhumibol and her role in strengthening the nations’ close ties.
Xi said she will always be remembered.
