The layoffs will not affect Mark Zuckerberg’s TBD Lab, which recruited top researchers from rivals. Cuts will target AI product and infrastructure teams to boost efficiency, with some affected staff possibly reassigned. Meta says the move will reduce internal discussions and decision-making delays.
