Zhao Leji, China’s top legislator, called on the Group of Friends of Neutrality to strengthen cooperation, revitalize multilateralism, and reform global governance in a video address to the group’s second parliamentary meeting. He highlighted China’s Global Governance Initiative and emphasized the role of parliaments in promoting peace and trust. Zhao reaffirmed support for the UN-centered international order and expressed China’s willingness to deepen ties with Turkmenistan, a founding member of the group.
