In a letter to President Ram Chandra Poudel, Oli confirmed his resignation, which the president accepted. The move follows protests that erupted Monday in Kathmandu and other areas, prompting authorities to impose curfews across the Kathmandu Valley, including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur.
