Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, said Thursday that Kyiv has no plans to hold a referendum on recognizing Russian control over any territory. He stressed that Ukraine does not intend to cede land and will not accept ultimatums.
Yermak noted that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said all territorial issues should be addressed in a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. While Ukraine acknowledges the current situation caused by the conflict, Yermak said it will only discuss it at the negotiating table.
