China says it looks forward to strengthening the BRICS partnership and deepening ties with Egypt ahead of Premier Li Qiang’s upcoming visits. Li will attend the 17th BRICS Summit in Brazil from July 5 to 8, and then visit Egypt from July 9 to 10.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, BRICS is a key platform for cooperation among developing countries and plays a major role in promoting a fair, multipolar world and inclusive globalization. China hopes to work with all members to boost development, multilateralism, and global governance.
On the Egypt trip, China aims to build on its strategic partnership with Egypt, strengthen political trust, and expand practical cooperation. The visit is expected to reinforce the long-standing friendship and push forward a shared vision for future development.
