Meta announced it is adding video editing capabilities to Meta AI, allowing users to edit 10-second videos using 50 preset AI prompts. Inspired by its Movie Gen AI models, the feature aims to simplify creative video edits and is currently available through the Edits app. Meta gathered feedback from creators to design the presets and plans to add more customization options later this year. With this update, Meta hopes to attract more content creators to use its in-house tools instead of third-party apps.
