The 11th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair opened in Shanghai with the theme “Open Innovation for New Quality Productive Forces and Sustainable Development.” This year’s fair is the largest to date, spanning 35,000 square meters and featuring nearly 1,000 enterprises from around 20 countries and regions. It includes themed and regional pavilions, specialized technology zones, and functional areas.
Glasgow, UK, is the overseas Guest City of Honor, while Shenzhen holds the domestic title. The fair focuses on emerging tech industries, particularly artificial intelligence, and includes four main zones covering fields like digital manufacturing, green energy, marine engineering, and consumer technology. Around 60 forums and side events on tech trade are also scheduled, setting a new record for parallel activities.
