Chinese President Xi Jinping sent condolences to Vietnamese leaders To Lam and Luong Cuong over the death of former Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong. In his message, Xi praised Tran Duc Luong as a respected leader who contributed greatly to Vietnam’s development and reforms. He also recognized Tran as a long-time friend of China who helped strengthen ties between the two countries. Xi expressed confidence that Vietnam will continue progressing under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
