Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron have agreed to deepen their nations’ strategic partnership, focusing on economic, cultural and technological cooperation. Xi emphasized the importance of respecting each other’s sovereignty and common development, the two leaders discussed increasing cooperation in areas including agrifood, space, aviation, and civil nuclear energy. France will be the guest country of honor at the China International Fair for Trade in Services 2024 and the seventh China International Import Expo, with Xi welcoming France’s commitment to a fair, just and non-discriminatory business environment.
