Pentagon documents leak a risk to U.S. National Security :BBC

The leak of highly classified U.S. defense Department documents poses a “very serious” risk to national security, according to a high-ranking Pentagon official cited by the BBC. The documents leaked online include sensitive information on the conflict in Ukraine, as well as on China and U.S. allies. Other documents reportedly focus on defense and security issues in the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific region. The leak could be the most damaging release of U.S. government information since the 2013 publication of the thousands of documents on Wikileaks, Reuters said.
