Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa called for stronger international pressure on Israel to implement the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire, stressing the urgent need for humanitarian aid, recovery efforts, and temporary shelters. Speaking in Ramallah with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, Mustafa highlighted ongoing violence, Israeli settlement expansion, and restrictions on Palestinian tax revenues, urging enforcement of relevant United Nations resolutions. Valtonen reaffirmed Finland’s support for ending the conflict and advancing reconstruction. Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned Israel’s decision to resume land registration in Area C of the West Bank, warning it could dispossess Palestinians and destabilize the region. The U.S. has launched the second ceasefire phase, including Israeli withdrawal, Hamas disarmament, and reconstruction efforts.
