Microsoft has unveiled plans to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) into its Microsoft 365 product suite, with a new AI “Copilot” that will speed up content creation for Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Outlook emails.
The technology will initially be open for testing to some 20 enterprises, with Microsoft believing that the next generation of AI will unlock a new wave of productivity growth. The company also previewed a new “business chat” experience that will allow users to pull data and perform tasks across applications with written commands.
