Microsoft-backed OpenAI starts release of powerful GPT-4 AI model

OpenAI announced the release of its latest artificial intelligence (AI) model, GPT-4, which can generate content based on text and images, representing a significant improvement on its previous model, GPT-3.5.

The image-input feature remains a preview, while the text-input feature will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and software developers. Microsoft is integrating GPT-4 into its products, while Google unveiled a “magic wand” for its collaboration software, powered by AI, which can draft any document.
