China and Central Asian countries have maintained robust trade relations since diplomatic ties were set up with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan 31 years ago, with the overall trade growing by more than 100 times. In Xian, capital of Shaanxi Province, a number of expats from these Central Asian countries have joined the cohort in strengthening the economic bonds.
