Chinese Vice President Han Zheng held a meeting with Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger in Beijing on Wednesday, where he reiterated China’s commitment to a market-oriented and law-based international business environment. Han also emphasized that China will continue to provide better services to foreign companies and share new development opportunities with companies of all countries. Han acknowledged that economic globalization is an irreversible trend and called on transnational enterprises to overcome difficulties and challenges in promoting better cooperation in global trade and industry. Han welcomed Intel to remain committed to the Chinese market and contribute to promoting China-US economic and trade cooperation while maintaining the stability of global industrial and supply chains. Meanwhile, Gelsinger praised China’s achievements in economic and social development and expressed his optimism about the prospects of the Chinese market. He also thanked the Chinese government for its efforts to improve the business environment and protect the investment rights and interests of foreign companies. Gelsinger pledged to increase investment and deepen cooperation with China.
