China and Pakistan have reaffirmed their strong friendship, with Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang emphasizing the importance of consolidating and advancing the “iron-clad” relationship between the two countries during a meeting with Pakistani President Arif Alvi in Islamabad on Friday. The two nations, described as “all-weather strategic cooperative partners,” have prioritized their friendship and cooperation, with Qin stating that China will always support Pakistan in achieving unity, stability, development, and prosperity, as well as safeguarding its national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Alvi, in turn, highlighted the deep traditional friendship between the two peoples and stressed the importance of strengthening the Pakistan-China friendship in a rapidly changing world.
