According to local authorities, at least two people were killed and nearly 20 injured in Afghanistan after a strong earthquake jolted the country’s Hindu Kush region on Tuesday night.
According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, a magnitude-6.9 earthquake jolted Afghanistan at 9:17 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
The quake rocked several provinces of Afghanistan and effected the capital Kabul.
Pakistan’s Geo TV reported, in neighboring Pakistan, at least nine people were killed due to the earthquake and over 160 others were injured.
