Petr Pavel sworn in as Czech president

Petr Pavel was sworn in on Thursday for a five-year term as Czech president.

Retired general Pavel won the runoff election on January 28 with 58.32 percent of the votes, compared to 41.67 percent received by his opponent Andrej Babis.
