Michelle Yeoh makes history as first Asian best actress winner at Oscars

Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian to win the Best Actress Award at the 95th Academy Awards for her performance in “Everything Everywhere all at once”. She gave an inspiring speech, saying that it was a beacon of hope and possibilities for all the little boys and girls who look like her.

In the film “Everything Everywhere all at once”, She played a Chinese-American immigrant who travels through the multiverse to save her daughter and received accolades at the Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her performance.

Michelle Yeoh started her acting career in Hong Kong in the early 1980s and global recognition for her roles in films like “Tomorrow Never Dies” and “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
